TIDA Cargo & Skills Course Seminars Scholarships

TIDA is offering five (5) scholarships for the Cargo Seminar and five (5) scholarships for the Skills Course Seminar. TIDA Industry Members are encouraged to apply for a scholarship. This scholarship is only valid for the Cargo & Skills Course Seminars and not applicable for any other TIDA Seminars.

Interested applicants must meet the following criteria in order to submit a scholarship application.

  • Scholarships are only available to active TIDA industry (trucking/insurance) members
  • You must fill out an application and receive approval from TIDA Headquarters

Accepted applicants will receive a scholarship that includes:

  • One (1) complimentary registration fee
  • Up to $300.00 in airfare reimbursement
  • Hotel Night(s):
    • Cargo Seminar: One (1) hotel night at the TIDA group rate at the host hotel on March 29, departing on March 30.
    • Skills Course Seminar: Two (2) hotel nights at the TIDA group rate at the host hotel on March 30, departing on April 1.

Scholarship Criteria
  • Be a TIDA Industry Member in good standing
  • Maximum of three scholarships per company
  • If you received a scholarship in the past year, you may be wait listed
  • Scholarships are offered on a first come, first served basis

**If you're applying for a scholarship: Do not register for the Seminar until after awarded scholarships are announced on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. If awarded, we will provide you with a promotional code to cover your registration cost. 

 The period to apply for a scholarship has closed.

Cancellation Policy

Cargo & Skills Seminar Scholarships are non-transferable. If you are unable to attend, please contact headquarters by March 9, 2022

TIDA is responsible to uphold the cost of your hotel room. All scholarship cancellations must be made in writing no later than three (3) weeks prior (March 9, 2022) to the Seminar via email at [email protected]. If you accept the scholarship and do not attend the Seminar without cancelling, then you may be ineligible to receive a scholarship in the future. If there is an unforeseen circumstance/emergency that you would like to be considered for an exception to this ineligibility, please advise TIDA as soon as possible prior to the Seminar.

Use of the scholarship promotional code is only valid for the awarded scholarship recipient and should not be shared with any other individual. Should the promotional code be shared, TIDA has full discretion to revoke the awarded scholarship. Eligibility for future years scholarships is at the discretion of TIDA.
