RESERVATIONS

TIDA secured a special discounted group rate for attendees of $224 per night (plus resort charge and applicable taxes/fees). The TIDA group rate is available while vacancy lasts or until September 23, 2024.

**Note: As of September 1, 2024: There are only a few rooms left on the nights of Wednesday, October 23 and Thursday, October 24. Fringe nights are currently sold out within the TIDA room block, however attendees may book additional nights at the prevailing rate directly through the hotel. CONTACT THE HOTEL DIRECTLY AT +1 787-721-0303 FOR ALL BOOKING INQUIRIES AND RESERVATION REQUESTS.

Another option for attendees is the Condado Plaza Hotel which is also a Hilton property and located just minutes from the Caribe Hilton. TIDA does not have a room block at this property. Please contact the hotel directly for reservations.

The Caribe Hilton is the exclusive and sole hotel partner of TIDA for room reservations. Do not book reservations through any other company or representative who contacts you claiming to represent TIDA and please report any such correspondences to TIDA Headquarters. Discount rates will not be honored if reservations are made through external websites or companies.

Getting Here

The Caribe Hilton is conveniently located just 7 miles from the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport "San Juan Airport SJU." Uber and taxi services are readily available in Puerto Rico. Lyft is not available. There are official kiosks located at the arrival level of the airport which can assist you with taxi service. Taxi Turistico has regulated rates for transportation between the airport, resorts, and tourist attractions around the city of San Juan. View zone information and pricing.

Renting a car in Puerto Rico is the same as stateside; you need to be 25 years or older, have a valid driver's license, and a credit card. Driving here is on the same side of the road as the mainland as well. More information on rentals.

Parking

Secure multi-level self-parking ($25/day) and valet ($32/day) are available.

Check-In/Out

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m. Guests arriving before check-in time will be accommodated as rooms become available. The resort can arrange to check baggage for those arriving early when rooms are unavailable and for guests attending functions on departure day.

Resort Cancellation Policy

The first night's deposit is charged upon booking your reservation. You may cancel your reservation and receive a refund until 72 hours prior to arrival. Contact the resort directly for cancellations.

Walk Through Old Juan

Visit the history hidden in the colorful buildings and paved streets of Old San Juan, speak with the locals, connect with the stories, and discover how rich life can be. There's lots to see, but here are a few places to start:

  • Currently, the largest fort built by Spain in the modern world, the Castillo San Cristóbal is a mighty structure that adds to the unforgettable landscape.
  • Time back to the 15th century at Catedral de San Juan Bautista, the oldest church on U.S. soil.
  • Visit El Morro, an undefeated six-story fortress perched at the top of Old San Juan and be awed by the fullness of its history. Learn more.

The Majestic El Yunque Rainforest
